Newtonian Telescope 160mm

Newtonian Telescope 160mm

Description

This is DIY Newtonian telescope, this current design based on my experience making other models. The model consider that use a D160F1300 Primary mirror and 35mm secondary mirror. Each component have 6 holes to use 1/2" Tubes aluminium tubes. I recommend to use 1300mm tubes and then adjust the final size once define the accurate focal distance considering all components. The base adds a shade that stands out 1 cm from the Primary mirror, to protect some external lights and to add a cap cover to protect the Primary mirror (cap cover in progress) The cell and clip consider Primary mirror thickness 19mm. The structure component must be printed at least 2 times to have a robustness structure. Support and roll component is to use like a Dobsonian support. Crayford support, designed a flat surface for a 1.25" Crayford support thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5807218 - Work In progress, support for a commercial Crayford Support. The top (spider) adds a shade to protect external incident lights. Was designed as a curved spider to improve the experience during. All components can be fixed using the included holes for M3 and M5 parker screws. Special greetings to the one who motivated me to speed up the design and assembly time.
