Ground Cooling Air Scoop (Piper Cherokee)
Description
Please note that this thing for ground use only and is not intended for use in flight! This thing is an air scoop that fits a Piper Cherokee window vent to bring in some ventilation during ground operations. The design was patterned after an older vacuum-formed part that an acquaintance used in his plane. I printed it in PETG for more temperature resistance, flange side down on the build surface, with tree supports. A few have been in service for a year or more now and seem to be holding up okay. I recommend increased wall thickness and/or infill percentage for durability.
