Creality mk8 Dual Fan Hotend
Description
I got tired of the weak single fan shipped with the creality mk8 hotends. This is a replaces it with two 5015s. You can splice the 5015s together on the same line. The right side needs a small stand off I did so with m-nut glued before the hole as a stand off. The left side you can simply mount with the nut behind it.. I normally model a slot for the nut but this allows you to use m4 or m3 nuts. You need at least 4 m4x20 length bolts. Shorter will NOTwork. This goes on without screws on the hotend. It uses a 'press' fit into the mk8 top fin slots. You can use a washer on the mk8 mounting scews to hold it in, but not required. Material I used, was polycarbonate cf blend, but pla+ worked for hours on end as the air is constantly flowing and sections off the hotend compared to the stock mk8 where the front fan blows down to the plate after hitting the hot end causing cooling issues on the part. The cooling is so good, I actually use 40% on pla+, I have used 100% just to ace the bridge test. Which is what is picture and the layer height there was 0.4mm with a 0.6 nozzle
