High Queen Khalida - TW: Whammer 3 - Tomb Kings
Description
High Queen Khalida, just and kind ruler of the ancient city of Lybaras, now reborn into a strange unlife. Guided by her Asp goddess Asaph, Khalida seeks to rebuild her fallen civilization's greatness and remove the stain of vampirism from the old world. If there's to ever be peace and/or integration between the living and the Tomb Kings, Khalida would be a good bet to get it done seeing as she always erred on the side of a pragmatic benevolence in life. In Battle Khalida is often mounted atop a giant statue of a serpent, animated by the souls of long-dead warriors. With the sheer heft of such a creature, not to mention her high-level mastery of both bladed weapons and her serpentine staff, she's excellent at dislodging hostile commanders and thus crippling all ability to coordinate the opposing forces. She's not just a welcome "Tomb Queen" to vary the faction's ranks a bit, but she represents a sliver of hope for the Warhammer-Fantasy world; even if in undeath! One of my favorite characters in Warhammer. I made a -very- simple base for her with a peg in her foot connecting her to it.
