Make a Moth - Sky Children of the Light Doll

Ever wanted your own Sky-kid? Well here is a make a moth kit with everything you need to get started! This is a 1/4th scale ball jointed doll and will require 2 5x2mm magnets, elastic and 4 wire S hooks to put together, I used about 1m of 3mm round elastic. I created these files in 2 days as a challenge to myself and therefore they aren't perfect, a little sanding post printing will be needed just to get a perfect fit depending on the printer that you use. The doll will not stand without an armature as it was designed to be as game accurate as possible so it is very top heavy. Improvements and alternative chibi limbs to come. I recommend using an ABS-like resin as it will last longer in high friction joints. Included is a sloper pattern for the basic moth outfit, this can be easily adapted to many of the base outfits by lengthening/shortening the trousers/sleeves/body. I used lightweight calico for the outfit and a faux fur for the cape. The first page includes a 20x20mm square to help you check that it has been printed at the correct size. The seam allowance is very small so you may want to add more if needed. The doll stands at about 30 cm tall when built, if printing in plastic I'd recommend printing at minimum 150% for the smaller details to come out.
