Logitech G920/923/29 Quick Release - Aluminum - CNC Machined
Description
This is a low profile quick release for Logitech G series wheel bases. It's not perfect because it's the first time i have ever created a 3D model but it works surprisingly great as i have been using it for 4 months now and i had no issues with it, I haven't encountered any problems with my wheel base's gears and it works fine. It needs to be made out of Aluminum with a CNC machine, i don't think it would work with 3D printing but I've included STL files if anyone wants to try to make it work. (For my prototype i 3D printed the files with 20% infill but it snapped after couple of turns in game.) I learned how to create 3D models for this project and i couldn't get the shaft's tolerance to be perfect so it needed to be sand down to fit together. If anyone wants or can make it fit perfectly you're more than welcome to do so . (Send me your remixed version link and I'll add the link here) Use 3 of the screws that comes with the Wheel base (after removing the original wheel) to attach the Female part to it. *Read "M5 Socket head cap screw" section*
