Amiga CD32/1200 VGA Indivision AGA MK3 mounting plate as an RF modulator replacement

Amiga CD32/1200 VGA Indivision AGA MK3 mounting plate as an RF modulator replacement

Description

This is the mounting plate for the VGA port, of the Indivision scandoubler (in case of Amiga 1200, the Indy AGA MK3). The project is a remix of a HDMI mounting plate project by @konstantinwall. Steps: - get rid of the modulator (desoldering process can be quite stressful :)) - use a piece of double-sided tape and a thin zip tie - or two M3 screws with nuts to attach the mounting plate to the motherboard, - attach the inverted VGA port to the mounting plate using two screws (I used M3) Additional requirements: - capacitors (if replaced) should be the same size as the original ones, so as not to cause conflict with the VGA output board - on the A1200, it may be necessary to cut the black plastic of the power socket (I used a hot soldering iron to make an indentation) - so that the VGA board can fit there (see photo) - it may be necessary to gently file the corner of the VGA board so that it does not interfere with the tin shielding of the power socket. I used standard print settings of a PRUSA MK3S with 0.2 mm layer and Quality mode enabled.
