Nativity Scene V2
Description
This is a Nativity Scene that I created to be printed flat on the build plate. This layers one over the other to create a scene that can be lit with a tea light or other lighting. I intend to add more lighting to the topper to see if i can make the LEDs go into the top and project light down for the scene. Also added in larger base to fully enclose the the print in a present box. Each scene is a 6x7inch print that should lay flat and print without supports on the print bed. The entire thing assembles without any glue or fasteners and should sit easily on a flat surface. Layer height can be anything but standard .2 should be fine. This base cover is optional as it sits on top of the counter or table pretty well. If printed in PETG it will store better over the summer and have less sag or warping. Useless information: This is still a work in progress and will probably be a V3 before long, however, the main reason for the update is that over time the prints where flapping and breaking when my kids played with it. Another reason is that the tabs on the bottom of the base warped and changed during storage, this enclosed version should fix that. The base is new and now has more room for lights or music to be added. Base will allow most tea lights to be put in easily and latch shut with the cover. I added a topper to enclose it with the new base and intend to again add in more lighting so that it lights up better. Any feedback will be welcomed if you made it this far.
