Lynx - Pedal Overlays
Description
Pedal Overlays for the LeaperKim Lynx stock pedals. Overlays that makes the pedals more grippy and also provides a riser in the front and/or in the back (both optional). Together with the double sided tape these will add about 2mm on-top of the stock pedals. The Lynx pedals are symmetrical so just mirror the pieces and print them in any combination you like, I prefer and recommend having a riser in the front but not in the back. I've printed these with <strong>PLA+</strong> which I think will be sufficiently strong for the task, if you want even stronger abrasion resistant material you could print with something like PETG-CF but I'm not sure it's necessary. Print settings is up to you just make sure that they are solid i.e. 100% infill. <strong>Installation:</strong> Cover the bottom with double sided tape as pictured in the photo, I use 3M VHB tape which is very strong but since there will be a lot of tape most double sided tapes should work fine, it's fine if the tape covers the holes it doesn't matter. Clean the pedals through-fully, I recommend first doing a general cleaning and then using some rubbing alcohol to increase adhesion. Secure the overlays over the pedals, they fit over the existing spikes but you can take extra care to make sure that top and bottom align (not a big deal if they don't align perfectly). Optional but recommended: Install 3 zip ties per overlay to further secure the overlays in place, top, bottom and center bridge.
