DIY Haunted House Kit
Description
PLAY TESTERS NEEDED! My haunted houses have proved popular (for some value of "popular"), so I decided to start making a do-it-yourself Haunted House Kit. You can combine them in your favorite 3D design program, or print them out to use them as a snap-together, hands-on building toy. This is vary much a Work-In-Progress, and any and all feedback is most welcome! So far, I have: Three sets of Foundations: Plain Concrete with a sill, Distressed Concrete (seen in the photo as the cracked concrete under the white wall), and Stone-and-Beam. These all have three lengths of straight runs (nominally 1, 2, and 3 meters), 90 and 30 degree corners (inside and outside corners for both). One finished set of clapboard walls, sized to fit on the foundations. There are plain walls, and walls with cutouts for doors and windows of different sizes. I will be adding more files as I finish them. At the time of this writing (10th May) I am working on distressed clapboard (missing boards, warped boards, etc). I will also be adding sets of windows, roofs, chimneys and so forth, as time goes by. One thing I've noticed when printing all these parts is that the fit of the pegs and holes can vary depending on filament, even with the same file on the same printer. Nothing a few swipes with a file can't fix, but something to keep in mind. Please post your makes, and let me know what kinds of additional things you would like! I will be posting the original Blender files on my Patreon page for patrons to play with.
