Homing sensor spacer for Photon Mono 4K

Homing sensor spacer for Photon Mono 4K

Description

## Homing Sensor Spacer Sometimes, the homing sensor doesn't detect in time that the arm holding the print bed has already reached the initial position. This causes the print bed to lower more than it should, and the Z-axis motor to emit an unpleasant noise while the bed presses against the printer screen. Besides the risk of the screen breaking, not being able to reach the homing position prevents the printer from being calibrated or able to print. This problem is exacerbated when a flexible base is installed on the print bed, which requires a couple of millimeters more height. To correct this issue, one solution is to lower the tab that triggers the homing sensor. This design offers various different sizes, depending on your case. For instance, if you're experiencing the issue with the original bed, you'll likely need the 2mm spacer; however, if you've installed a flexible bed, you'll probably need the 4mm or 5mm one. You might need to find a pair of M3*10 screws to secure the tab that triggers the sensor, as the original printer screws are only 5mm long and not long enough to accommodate a spacer of more than 2mm.
