Modular, User Cutomizable, Reconfiguarable, Flexible Footprint, Tool Holder "System" (Because Everything These Days Has To Be A "System" ;) Seriously, Everyone Has Their Favorite Tools And Most Of Us Have The Same Problem Of Spending Half Our Time Looking For The Tool That We Just Used Or The Next Tool That We Really Need (Often The One You Just Put Down And Now Can'T Find In The Tool Stack That You'Ve Been Meaning To Organize Or Worse Stuck In The "Tool-Mug"). This Modular Tool Caddy / Tool Holder Allows You To Create Your Own Custom Tool Holders For Each Of Your Favorite Tools And Expand The Caddy With New Modules Beyond The Basics That I Designed (In About 10 Minutes). Use The "Riser" File" To Make A Second Back Row That'S Higher. Use The Included "Blanks" Files To Make Your Own Tool Holders. Step 1: Use The Two Files Called Toolhold_End Piece And The File Toolhold_Channel_On_Your_Machine Test To Test The Design On Your Machine. By The Way If The Files On Your System Are Initially Small When You Load Them, Just Scale Up By 10. Measurements Will Be In Metric. For Example The End_Piece Measures 4X34X33 Mm. Step 2: Print Out A Base (Standing Upright) And A Few Tool_Holders. Each Is Labeled For The Tool That It Was Designed To Hold (Wow Correctly Named Files, Who Saw That Coming). Step 3: Use One Of The 1 Cm, 2 Cm 3Cm Wide "Blanks" To Model Your Own Tool Holders (Or Just Scale The Blank'S Length To Fit Your Need. By The Way If The Files On Your System Are Initially Small When You Load Them, Just Scale Up By 10. Measurements Will Be In Metric (Sorry I Usually Model In Microns). Step 4: - Get Fancy. Design A "Two Part" Tool Holder! What I Mean Is Design A Tool Holder That Has Two Halves, Each With A Cut Out For Part Of The Tool (For Bigger Tools). - By The Way The Groove In The Front Is For A Ruler. - Try Using Just Two Blanks As Spacers Without A Tool Holder. - Make A Shorter Tool-Holder By Scaling The Z-Axis On The Base. - Acteone Weld The Bases Into Any Configuration. For Example Try Having A 2X2 Or 1X4 (Inline) Arrangement For Multiple Holders And Use A Riser For Higher Levels. You Can Even Stack The Risers.
