ZANAS Z-F4UR (Z4)
Description
The Z-FOUR is the first Zanas rocket to have an integrated GPS module and an onboard camera. Thanks to ACME we were able to launch Z-FOUR at a more professional location, Aviosuperficie Molinella, near Bologna. The launch was monitored through a python monitor that we developed and that was able to graph rocket data in real time. Much bigger than its predecessors, Z-FOUR stands at a staggering 136cm of height and weighs in at 1,5kg fully loaded. It managed to reach an altitude of 422m in just 11 seconds. This was done thanks to its very powerful H4 motor that provided an astonishing G-class Impulse of over 150N*s. After reached its maximum altitude the rocket automatically deployed its parachute thanks to the Z-F4 Avionics connected to an Arduino NANO thorugh a custom-printed PCB on which an NRF24 module trasmitted data to the ground for the launch monitor to elaborate.
