Spring Bed Clip for Round Print Beds (Kossel, Rostock)
Description
There Are Multiple Designs To Choose From. For The Kossel Mini I Found I Needed To Recess The Top To Allow Clearance For The Hot End. The Designs Are In Order Of My Preference, And I Would Advise Printing One Before Printing All Three And Doing A Test Fit Between The X And Y Towers. This Is The Area With The Least Amount Of Clearance When Autoleveling. The Print Bed Inset_Multiplier Determines The Depth The Curve Is Cut Into The Clip. The Idea Is To Slide The Bed Into The Curved Void, Use The Two Holes On The Corners To Hold It More Firmly If You Have A Loose Fit. A Hex Head Bolt (M3) Is Slid Into The Track Of V-Slot And Tightened Into Place With A Nut. A Very Strong Spring Is Fitted Over This And The Bed Clip Slides Over The Bolt. You Adjust The Height With A Nut Placed Over The Clip. I'D Advise Tightening It Down A Few Turns Before Starting To Allow For Loosening If Needed. Highly Customizable. You Need All Scad Files To Edit Parameters. Using A Lock Nut Would Probably Be Advised. This Would Probably Work Great Without Springs Too!
