Planet Eclipse EMEK, Etha 2 Tube Body Simplification (w/ PAL)
Description
Are you like me and find the original EMEK/Etha 2 body to be ugly and fat? How about a simplified, clean body for your marker like this one here? I modeled this directly off Planet Eclipse's Etha 2/EMEK 3D model, only changing the body to make it a nice and simple shape. Noe that this body comes with PAL compatibility. The original eye covers can be used, or my matching style eye covers can be downloaded here as well. I have also included my simplified Geo-style bolt back cap within this design as well, completely optional. The only failure point on the Etha 2/EMEK body is the feedneck mounting boss. Since the feedneck clamps directly onto this material, a bad dive could break here if too weak of a material is used. To match Planet Eclipse's original material, print with glass-filled nylon, PA-GF30. Otherwise, printing out of a weaker material like PLA, PETG, or ABS may cause failure at the feedneck if beaten around too much.
