Pocket Fountain Pen - Jinhao Nib Units
Description
In my continuing fountain pen projects is a pocket fountain pen that takes Jinhao nib units, one of the sections is for the #6 nib unit (like used in the Jinhao 9013) and the other is for the #5 nib unit (like used in the Jinhao 82). If you print the #5 nib unit, it's internal threads are very fine (0.7mm pitch) and really require a printer that is running well. I have printed them multiple times, and they have worked every time on my BambuLabs X1C. There are a large number of options here, you will need a section, a body, and a cap to make a pen. The Long bodies will fit the converters I have tried, and the short bodies will fit a Jinhao cartridge, but not a converter. Everything else is optional, and these are all made to screw together, but a short body with a long cap might be hard to get a grip on the body to unscrew the cap. I have printed in PETG, ASA, and PLA+, all worked very well for me. I use 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.08mm layer height to make sure the threads print well.
