Description
<b>6 Inch Prop 6035 V3 Here the long awaited V3 of my 6 Inch propeller design. The V2 version suffered with a weak connection of the blades to the hub. This has been addressed by increasing the thickness of the connection point while still maintaining aerodynamics. The leading and trailing edges have also been made modified to aid performance. This prop has been designed with a 35mm pitch and to fit 6mm motor shafts. The same style of chamfered inserts has been kept to ensure a tight fit allowing it to be compatible with 2,3,4 and 5mm shafts along with the standard 6mm shafts. In addition to the 2,3 and 4 bladed options, the V3 version also includes 5 and 6 blade variants to try. <b>Spec: Diameter: 149.72mm / 5.89” Radius: 74.86mm Height: 12mm Pitch: 35mm Shaft diameter: 6mm (inserts for 2,3,4 & 5mm) Blades: 2,3,4,5 and 6 Blade variants As a rough guide here are the weights and approximate print times for all the components using PLA at 100% infill and printing at 0.2 resolution/layer height. 2 Blade: 4.00g - 20m 3 Blade: 5.44g - 27m 4 Blade: 6.85g - 33m 5 Blade: 8.34g - 39m 6 Blade: 9.80g - 46m All Inserts: 1.65g - 12m Your feedback with these designs is really helpful so please share your prints and opinions on where improvements could be made.
