Rubbermaid 21-Cup Mount for Snapmaker Artisan
Description
This is a mount for Rubbermaid 21-cup containers. These are often used for creating DIY filament dry boxes and there are several designs for them on Thingiverse. For the Snapmaker I was having trouble using it due to placement of the box. If the filament isn't mounted in a particular way the printer has trouble feeding the filament to the hot-end and usually stops the print. I could only place them on the top of the Artisan and that was causing problems. That meant I could only use the dry boxes for static storage (i.e. couldn't be used while printing). So, I designed these mounts to mount the containers against the aluminum extrusions on the Snapmaker's frame. They require M5x10mm screws and nuts for mounting. Note: The ones I printed and tested so far don't have the 15mm spacer block at the bottom. I wanted some kind of support against the side of the Artisan so all the stress isn't at the top there. I am in the process of printing and testing these to see if they will work. I imagine they can be used with furniture feet pads to not scratch the side of the Artisan. I've attached both the non-spacer and spacer version though in case I don't get around to testing it.
