Magnetic Pentultimate/Icosamate Twisty Puzzles

Magnetic Pentultimate/Icosamate Twisty Puzzles

Description

PARTS TO PRINT 2 core pieces 1 core pin 20 corner pieces (either puzzle) 12 center pieces (either puzzle) ADDITIONAL 184 5x2 millimeter magnets (I suggest a few more in case you glue one in the wrong orientation... or you want to print one of each puzzle) Superglue vinyl stickers (12 colors for Pentultimate, 20 for Icosamate) I did not need any supports or brims with the print orientations given. layer height used was .15 mm When gluing the core, the pin only allows two orientations. One is correct and the other is not. please be aware to use the correct orientation, keeping the spaces for magnets equally spaced along the equator. I did not account for clearance on these parts as I do a significant amount of post processing (full description in "Post-Printing". My pieces fit very well after this process... I am not sure how they will fit without any sanding. Please be very aware of magnet polarity. All corner walls should attract to all center walls. Polarity on all magnets on core should be in the same direction. If a magnet dries in the wrong direction, you may have to reprint that piece (unless you know a good way to get that magnet out... in which case please share this knowledge with me haha) Once your puzzle is assembled, please keep in mind this puzzle is only held together with the strength of the magnets you applied, so not a speed solving cube. I had some "pops" until I got a sense of how to turn the puzzles.
