Whetstone Guide for DMT Sharpener System
Description
This is an adaptation of the shetstone guide from Isambard11 to my DMT diamond whetstones. As these are quite small, I have optimized the design so that I can use as much of the sharpening stone's surface as possible. I have included the CAD for sliders with other angles. All you have to do is enter the desired angle in the parameters spreadsheet. As I am not a designer, the CAD file is not 100% professional. ### Shopping list: * 2x stainless steel rod, 6 x 200mm * 4x linear bearing, LM6UU 6x12x19mm * 4x screws ~ 3x3mm (optional, 3x10mm are shown in the picture) * Whetstones: https://www.schmiedeglut.de/6-Diamond-Whetstone-3er-Set-in-Holzkiste ### Printing: Easy to print. No supports or other stuff necessary. I printed it with PLA on a Creality K1 Max with 3 wall loops and 3 top and bottom layers at 15% infill. ### Post processing: Insert the linear bearings into the slider. Then insert it into the rods and insert them into the two parts. Optionally fix with screws. ### Operation: To change the grindstone, move the slider to the short part. The underside of the slider is slightly angled so that the stone can be threaded in. Finally, I would like to thank Isambard11 for the great design. The first whetstone aid that works for me as a beginner.
