Polycraft Tuffy 300
Description
Please note: I am new to modelling, this is really the first ever slightly "complex" thing I have ever designed, and as a result it's not great. This is glaringly obvious the more you look at it, but: - The size is very small - so scale up. I went up to about 200% which is ~15cm in length (around 1/20th scale) - It is by no means an accurate representation of an actual Polycraft Tuffy - it's just "close enough" to bring entertainment to my children. A lot of angles are wrong, the keel is missing from the bow section of the boat, etc. - I printed it at about a 30 degree angle or so, with the stern of the boat closest to the build plate, meaning this is where the supports were (on the transom and two rear points of the pontoons). This stops the need for supports elsewhere on the model. - The grab rails were probably too small for the scale, so anything less than 200% in size will mean they wont print, and even if they do they will be messy unless you've set your printer up nicely. - I just modelled a very basic motor to go with it - haven't gotten around to printing that yet, but in theory in should slot onto the transom. Note: there are no prop blades because a) I couldn't be bothered, and b) again, this was for my kids and they will 100% break them in 2 seconds.
