Torqeedo Cruise 4.0 outboard propeller

Torqeedo Cruise 4.0 outboard propeller

Description

I've got an amazing replacement for the Torqeedo propeller that's a bit pricey. It's about 29cm in diameter and this version has a spline on the shaft (10 wedges) and a hole for an M10 screw. I came up with this idea after the original one broke. I used an online generator from Wageningen Propeller to create a model of a propeller that I can use in my boat and then I modified it to fit in my motor shaft. I tried using an ABS (grey propeller) first, and it came out really well! I set 5 walls loops and 20% of gyroid infill, but it got destroyed easily. I didn't have any other materials and watch strength tests for different materials, and I decided to use PLA (black propeller) with 100 walls loops (like 100% infill but in one direction). After testing, propeller seems to be really good. It survives max power of braking from max speed, tight turns, waves and others sailing thing, so it's ok for 5kW motor, 4000RPM, 750kg weight with 10,5km/h max speed. Propeller with that max values of wall loops weight about 320g and printing time on my K1 max was 9,5 hours. Use it with caution.
