Parametric Battery Holder
Description
I stumbled upon the design user "sagdusmir" created (Thing ID 4165826) but wanted it to be more flexible and adjustable. I also didn't need as many slots. So decided to create my own fully parametric model with his design as the inspiration. This is not a remix of his model, I created the model myself from scratch. There are 2 files ready to print. They both hold 10 AA batteries but in different arrangements. The arrangement is indicated in the file name (2x5 = 2 batteries per row, 5 rows). There is also the fully parametric Fusion360 file which you can use to customize the model to your liking. This is my first parametric project so it may look amateurish to the more experienced among you. I tried to adjust for as many different use cases as possible. For example you can : - Adjust the model to fit any kind of cylindrical battery - Adjust the total number of batteries it can hold as well as the arrangement of the batteries ("20 batteries total, 4 batteries per row") - Adjust for the use recessed screws or screws with cylindrical heads as well as screw diameter - Adjust the angle at which the batteries are held, as well as spacing of the holes - Adjust frame size I was not ready to screw it onto the wall yet, so enjoy my fingers :) Would love to see your makes!
