Replacement Garmin Mount Bracket (145-01615-10) for Nuvi, DriveSmart, etc.

Description

The mount (PN 145-01615-10) for my Garmin DriveSmart navigation GPS has been falling apart (the plastic leaves/fingers on the socket of the mount become brittle and break off), and finally became useless recently after 3 of the leaves broke off, so I came up with this replacement mount. I designed this part to be printed as-provided and used, without any assembly or post-processing. Just pull it off the bed, clip it onto your Garmin, and snap it onto the ball of the mount arm. There are two versions/files -- I recommend the one with built-in supports (GarminMount-SlitsWithSupport.stl), but you could use the one without supports (GarminMount-NoSupportSlits.stl) if you want your slicer to take care of the supports -- in that case, I found that setting the slicer's support threshold to 80° everywhere worked. If you use GarminMount-SlitsWithSupport.stl, then disable supports. You probably don't even need to clean out the supports in the expansion slits -- just leave them in and use as-is. I also recommend printing with 100% infill to ensure strength/durability. I printed mine in PLA, but I have a feeling it may not hold up in hot weather, so I'd recommend ABS or ASA if you have it -- I don't, and have never tried.
