It’S Intended To Hold 3 Spools At A Time So That All Filament Strands Can Be Run Through The Selector Head. The Selector Head Rests On Top Of A Multi-Part Arm And Base And Has A Built In Spring Loaded Anti-Reverse Spooling Mechanism. This Mechanism Uses The Force Of The Spring To Add Resistance To The Filament Strands Causing Them To Require A Little More Pull From Your Stepper Motor (Not Enough To Cause Problems) But Making It Less Likely To Allow The Stand Back Through To Reverse The Spool, Overlapping Filament And Causing Snags. Once The Filament Goes Through This Section All But One Strand Is Stopped By The Selector Head With The Built In Razor. When You Want A New Spool, Simply Push The One In Use Back While Holding The Spring Loaded Button Until Its Only Sticking Out As Much As You Want To Cut Off. Then Turn The Head To The Right Until It Clicks Into A New Position And Cuts Off The Old Head. Then Push The New Filament Through And Run It Into Your Printer.
