Delica D:5 Roof Bar Pads
Description
Its almost impossible to get roof bars for the Mitsubishi Delica D:5 in the UK. It is easy to get bars to fit a ford transit type roof. This is a spacer pad that is designed to permit the transit type 2 M8 bolt fittings to connect to the D:5 hooks via a custom steel bracket. I made the bracket from a piece of 20x20x3mm steel angle with a 30x3mm slot cut 1.5mm from one edge using a dremel, and two holes drilled in the other side to match the holes in the existing brackets.
