this is my design for the Dorfromantik board game grid. to connect use 5mm x 1mm Neodym Magnets i used these https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BWRVKHH4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 for magnet placement please check pictures. depending on your print quality you can press fit the magnets or if lose, use glue.
