AFV Radio Antenna Mount 1/35 scale
Description
I have always found the antenna mounts for 1/35 kits to be lacking. I am not good at stretching sprue and use small gauge wire to make them, but the mounts the wire wouldn't stick in and if I wasn't careful, I would damage the mount to where it was unusable. So, I decided to make some mounts that would be more useable with an appropriate sized hole to insert 24 or 26 gauge wire. I have one that will mount on the side of a vertical surface and one for a horizontal service. The vertical surface mount has a cable inside the mount as a real antenna mounted this way would have the cable coming through the bottom. This part is very fragile so be vary careful with supports. I would manually add supports to this so as to avoid putting supports on that cable because it would almost certainly break trying to remove the supports from it.
