Engine L4

Engine L4

Description

Simple model of an engine cylinder block with piston and crankshaft. Short video for assembly - https://youtube.com/shorts/v9T9nrXPUuU?feature=share (I will probably make a full assembly video with all the details, but that's harder for me than modeling) Can be printed and assembled without additional parts. Can be spun by the handle. Can be equipped with motor, speed controller and battery (18650 with pin). Examples of additional pieces: Motor - link RPM controller - link Battery brackets - link Special designations in model names: x2 / x4 - how many copies you need to print out (opt) - optional part (repl) - part that replaces one of the default parts, usually they are called the same name I have tried to put all the parts (stl) in the correct orientation for printing There are several types of crankshaft - standard and as in v8. They also differ in the flywheel mounting (nut or circlip). You can choose what you like. I recommend the standard crankshaft with nut, but the nut requires printer quality adjustments (or reducing the speed of small perimeters) I recommend printing the crankshaft this way with the wood supports. Yes, it's long and plastic wasteful (the supports weigh as much as the part), but it's high quality. I've tried printing the crankshaft horizontally - the appearance isn't pretty, but it should be more stable. I recommend sanding and lubricating the inside of the cylinders. I also plan to make a model of the v8 engine based on this model. You can subscribe so you don't miss it.
