When it comes to what I design, the majority of my designs follow this criteria: - Avoid any unnecessary time required to print. - Ensure the product is sturdy - Make sure requirements of supports is to a minimum. - Avoid unnecessary use of filament as long as it does not impact print time and quality. - Design parts that can fit no matter the layer height to the best of my ability. --- This is specifically for the Primo water jugs you typically get at home depot. I noticed that someone elses design for a cap did not fit the primo at all. This one has an extremely snug fit. I also recommend you use PetG when printing objects like this that are designed to have a small amount of flexing.
