Apple II/II+/IIe Speaker Holder
Description
Originally Apple secured the beep speaker to the bottom case plate with some rubber type adhesive. My speaker on my Apple II+ vintage computer came loose and I could not secure it down anymore. Even hot gluing it would come lose because glue wont bond to the rubber layer on the speaker. Apple coated it in some sort of rubber material which when it comes unglued, it difficult to glue it back down without it popping back off. So I was able to make this and then simply slot the speaker right into this. I merely hot glued this to the inside bottom plate and that seemed to secure it properly. Now my speaker does not come loose and also I can remove it when needed without it being affixed to the bottom case plate.
