Catan 2.0 Storage Box
Description
This is a storage box for [catan-style boardgame 2.0 (magnetic & multicolor)](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2525047) by [Dakanzla](https://www.thingiverse.com/dakanzla/designs) I took inspiration from other designs especially this [Catan 3D 2.0 Storage Case](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4926803) by [lablabla](https://www.thingiverse.com/lablabla/designs) but designed this system completely from scratch. Some improvements and other intentional design elements: * Removable player token trays for use during game play * Resource card divider trays that separate cards by type and can be used during game play * Flat building cost cards that fit nicely in the box * Dedicated storage for robber/sandstorm token, [longest road](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2349876) and [largest army](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2349867) trophies * Dedicated number token & dice storage * Optimized hex storage slot height for easy sliding in and out without interfering with other pieces * Labeled hex storage slots grouped by resource type * Harbor/sea hexes are ordered (clockwise) to match board setup order The hex storage files come in 2 versions: * **Normal:** Includes a hole for gluing in [round, 8 mm x 3 mm magnets](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CPV7X8Y) * **Hidden magnets:** Requires configuring your printer to pause 0.6 mm from the top of the print. (Print with magnet holes on the top) After pausing, you can drop in the [round, 8 mm x 3 mm magnets](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CPV7X8Y) and print the final layers over them to completely embed the magnets in the print. A dab of super glue doesn't hurt to prevent any slight rattling that can occur but is not required. *Make sure you orient the magnets the correct way so that the 2 hex storage halves connect properly.* Each file should be printed once with the following exceptions: * Hex storage parts A & B: Choose either the normal or hidden magnet variant * Building costs & player token storage should be printed 4 times each In addition to stl files, I've also included sketchup files as well as various source files (icons, etc) for easier modification. I used the following icons: * [Wheat](https://thenounproject.com/icon/wheat-53361/) by [Callum Taylor](https://thenounproject.com/creator/callumctaylor/) * [Ore](https://thenounproject.com/icon/ore-53365/) by [Callum Taylor](https://thenounproject.com/creator/callumctaylor/) * [Wood](https://thenounproject.com/icon/wood-53364/) by [Callum Taylor](https://thenounproject.com/creator/callumctaylor/) * [Sheep](https://thenounproject.com/icon/sheep-53363/) by [Callum Taylor](https://thenounproject.com/creator/callumctaylor/) * [Brick](https://thenounproject.com/icon/brick-53362/) by [Callum Taylor](https://thenounproject.com/creator/callumctaylor/) * [Ship](https://thenounproject.com/icon/ship-6950208/) by [Zaenul Yahya](https://thenounproject.com/creator/adelineputriaz/) * [Cactus](https://thenounproject.com/icon/cactus-6601661/) by [Purwanto](https://thenounproject.com/icon/cactus-6601661/) * [Waves](https://thenounproject.com/icon/waves-4940517/) by [Eva Ratkus](https://thenounproject.com/creator/evaratkus/)
