CYD-Klipper mount&case for Longer LK5 Pro
Description
Case and mount for [CYD-Klipper](https://github.com/suchmememanyskill/CYD-Klipper), an easy to deploy and use screen based around ESP32-2432S028R AKA [Cheap Yellow Display](https://github.com/witnessmenow/ESP32-Cheap-Yellow-Display). Artifact list: - M3x10 screw, preferably Allen - M3 nut - CYD with its accessories (pen, power cable) - either of: - 2.54mm XH2.54 6-pin male terminal - a pair of 2- or more wire connectors (plug+socket), any kind. Printing: Print wedge and swivel on their sides for best durability. Swivel may require Brim (and trimming it thoroughly). Top will have a nicer bottom of the notch with standard supports enabled. Assembly: - Get CYD-Klipper to work correctly without the case. Set screen to "Rotated 180 degrees" - Unplug and remove the original display; free its cable. - Optionally swap its plug to whichever you got if you don't have the XH matching the original. - The cable with "LCD" tag is +5V, the one on opposite end is GND (use multimeter to make sure though) - Using the original clips lead the cable through the underside of the middle rail to the front. - Solder the socket to the CYD power cable, matching polarity of the plug; red +5V, black GND, do not connect the remaining two (trim them short next to the board side plug). - plug the power cable into CYD, insert it into the case and close the back (USB to USB slot; 2 small holes in the back go above BOOT and RESET buttons). You'll need to bend the back a bit for the latch bars to slip into the slots in the front. Make sure the power cable goes out through the big center hole. - Insert the swivel under the wedge's clamp, V notch on the swivel goes opposite to /\ notch on the wedge, [ notch goes opposite to ] notch. - Insert the nut into its socket in the swivel (between the swivel and the wedge) - Screw the screw in just a little bit to hold the nut from falling out - Attach the assembly to the profile holding the belt idler in the middle of the printer - Make sure the [ ] notches grip the profile well, then tighten the screw enough that it won't come off the profile but sits only loosely. - Latch (snap) the CYD case onto the /\ and V wedges; pen below, thread the cable through a side next to the wedge. - Tighten the screw until the CYD doesn't wobble at all. Don't tighten it all the way, you'll break something. - Connect the power socket and the plug and tuck them away. - Add the stylus. FreeCAD file attached, if you want to adapt to the USB-C version of the board or something along these lines.
