Harbor Freight US General Tool Box Handle Cover

Harbor Freight US General Tool Box Handle Cover

Description

I made this to fit my U.S. General 5 drawer rolling toolbox. Over time my chrome handle covers became loose and broke. I made these replacements to take their place. They fit tight and do not slide at all but still easy to put on. It does take up the FULL print bed though from corner to corner. I found Cura will not allow me to slice it using the full size potential of the bed. However I switched to Bambu Studio and it allowed me to slice it and print it just fine. You do have to remove the little purge strip before it starts the print so it doesn't print over it. There are 4 Files included. There are 2 files that have the ribbed face like you see in the pics. Then there are 2 files that just have a smooth blank face incase you want to write something on the face of it like "screwdrivers". You will need both files of whatever style you choose. The 318mm (shorter of the two) are for the three smaller drawers. The other file, 323mm (Longer of the two) are for the two larger full width drawers. You will have to print a total of 4 of the longer ones as it takes two of them to complete the full width of the drawer. Please post any pics you guys take. I love seeing stuff I make being useful to other people.
