Cr-10S4 Y-axis Tensioner
Description
CR-10S4 Y-axis belt tensioner. I made this part to decrease the height of the tensioner which interfered with the print bed, limiting the print volume. This tensioner is designed to be placed on a 2020 aluminum extrusion with four mounting holes for M4 bolts. It uses pieces from an adjustable y-axis tensioner and NOT the original parts other than the belt bearing. Parts needed: - M4 bolt x4 - M4 t-nut x4 Installation: 1. Due to the design, you will want to install the metal piece that applies pressure on the belt first on the inside of the tensioner. 2. Then screw in both top bolts with t-nuts. Make sure to allow the piece to still slide. 3. On the side profile of the aluminum extrusion add t-nuts into channel and slide part over top until holes line up, then bolt together. 4. Line up tensioner and tighten!
