Suzuki Jimny JB43 strain relief for switch assy 4WD
Description
The JB43 Suzuki Jimny has a switch in the 4x4 system, part no 37680-76J01. The switch itself is fine, but the design of the wires is quite poor: no strain relief (wires enter the switch directly and are only secured with a drop of resin) and no protection (wires are easy to tangle if crossing branches/rocks). I've designed this strain relief to slide over the 21 mm nut (after installing it). Pass the wire through the channel (add a piece of rubber if wanted), then secure with two zip ties. The “scissor” action of the strain relief should keep it reasonably tight over the nut as well. There are two variants: - one at 21 mm, which will be very tight (the two “arms” will be apart) - one at 21.2 mm, which will be just fine (the two “arms” will be almost parallel) Prints with no supports. Obviously, use a tough material since it'll be exposed to heat, shocks and so on (ABS, ASA, etc).
