MG4 Center Cubby Dual Cup Holder

And after not being able to find anything for sale, and the few 3D designed ones that exist didn't fit or i didn't like, i had to make one myself. This still doesn't fit perfectly, as it's very hard to measure this awkward tapered space, but it fits pretty good. The main purpose of this cupholder, is that the original cupholders are too far away so you have to bend and reach forward to get a drink, as well as the low height making it difficult or impossible to have taller drinks. This fits snug in width, with a little bit of play front and back. Unfortunately due to do hatch you can slide back and forth as well as the tapered design of the hole, there has to be a little bit of wiggle room otherwise you can't make it fit. I used a bit of double sided sticky pads at the bottom and the front, so the cubby doesn't slide and come back up if you pull it. Inside the two cupholder slots, i put a few felt pads, so the cans don't rattle. The smaller cupholder fits a standard EU 330 & 500ml can design, and the big cup holder fits larger water bottles, for example my 1,5L water bottle which is too tall to even get into the original cupholder. Print in PETG to make sure it doesn't go soft in the heat of a summer car cabin. Print with supports. Again, due to the awkward design you unfortunately have to use a lot of supports. This is a big and long print.
