DJI Osmo Pocket 2 Weighted Stand

DJI Osmo Pocket 2 Weighted Stand

Description

I wanted to make a flat-bottom weighted stand for the Osmo Pocket 2. It can work as a simple stand or as a slider for dynamic shots if used with a smooth and large mouse pad. I didn't put too much effort into this since I just wanted something simple. YT Short about it: https://youtube.com/shorts/a98wwvsl7lo I used the Osmo Pocket 2 digital design from Andy Chan from GrabCAD [https://grabcad.com/library/dji-osmo-pocket-2-1] and I found it precise. The stand consists of three parts: the top, the bottom, and the lid. The top is a small part that holds the Pocket and I made it small so that if any other attachments need to be made, I can easily swap it out or change sections. The bottom part is hollow and can be printed with no supports if placed upside down with the flat face on the bed. This flat face is 20 degrees offset from the horizontal plane. To attach the top and bottom pieces, the bottom piece has two 4.5mm diameter holes that should fit M3 heatsinks and the top piece has who holes for M3 screws. Lastly, the lid is just a thick piece of plastic that does not have any mounting method so best to superglue it on after placing heavy substrate like rocks inside the bottom piece.
