Corridor Board Game

Corridor Board Game

Description

Board Game with the following rules: **Objective:** - Be the first player to move your pawn to any of the nine squares opposite your starting side of the board. **Setup:** - Each player starts with a pawn placed in the center of their edge of the board (the middle square of their row). - Players are given a set number of fences (10 for a 2-player game, 5 for a 4-player game). **Gameplay:** 1. Players take turns, starting with the player chosen by mutual agreement or randomly. 2. On your turn, you can either: - Move your pawn one square (horizontally or vertically, not diagonally). - Place one of your fences on the board. **Moving Your Pawn:** - Pawns can move one square at a time. - Pawns can jump over each other if they are adjacent, landing on the square immediately beyond the other pawn (if that square is free). - If the square immediately beyond the other pawn is blocked by a fence or the edge of the board, the pawn can move to either side of the other pawn instead. **Placing Fences:** - Fences must be placed between two sets of two squares, creating a barrier. - Fences can be placed either horizontally or vertically. - Fences cannot overlap. - Fences cannot completely block a player's path to the opposite side of the board. There must always be at least one route for each player to reach their goal. **Winning the Game:** - The first player to reach any square on the opposite side of the board with their pawn wins the game.
