Soda Spout

Soda Spout

Description

The soda spout I created is inspired by the fun and inventive promotional item that Pepsi and IHOP developed together. The design draws from the Pepsi-IHOP spout, which mimics the syrup spouts you’d find at IHOP. This gives the soda spout a modern, stylish twist while maintaining the classic pouring vibe. The sleek lines and practical functionality combine the best elements of both brands, capturing the essence of their collaboration and transforming a standard soda accessory into something truly memorable. It is recommended to print the pieces separately, the parts needed are the Spout body, the spout button and the spout handle. For assembly, you will need some screws (like these: [M3x20mm Machine Screws](https://www.amazon.com/MroMax-M3x20mm-Machine-Stainless-Phillips/dp/B07ZQXGY85/ref=sr_1_2?)) and springs (like these: [1,5in Compression Springs](https://www.amazon.com/HayEastdor-Compression-Stainless-Mechanical-Replacement/dp/B0CFVV8BGS/ref=sr_1_2?)). To get started, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the Button and Spring: Take your button and a spring. Superglue the spring to the thinnest part or tail of the button, where there is a small hole. Allow it to dry completely. 2. Attach the Spring to the Spout Body: Once the glue has dried, take your spout body and superglue the other end of the spring to the platform in the middle back of the spout body. Let it dry again. 3. Align and Secure the Button: Once the glue is dry, hold the button in place and align the slit in the button with the screw holes on the spout body. 4. Insert the Screws: Using tweezers, pick up a screw by the thread, with the head facing you. Align and insert the screw into the hole. Use gravity to your advantage by letting go of the tweezers and pushing the screw in by hand. Repeat the process on the other side. 5. Attach to Your Soda Can: Once the screws are secured, your soda spout is ready to be enjoyed on your soda can.
