Airport Buildings, Main Terminal, Cargo Terminal, Signs, Stencils

My kids love airports so I loosely designed one after KSNA - John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. It features up to 6 parking spots in the default configuration however I have included the Sketchup files so you can make up your own design. Buildings ------------ They are three buildings: - The Cargo building can be printed as is. Angle it about 45 degrees so the open part is on top - makes it easier to print and only takes about 2h. - The side building need to be printed in normal and one in mirrored mode (as they connect on each side to the middle building). - The middle building connects the two side building printed and the tower together. Tower -------- Tower has 4 parts: - Print 1 BASE - Print 1 TOP BASE - Print 1 Tower Glass - Print 1 TOP - Print 4 Base Windows The 4 BASE WINDOWS need to be glued to the tower base. The TOP BASE, Tower Glass and TOP need to be sandwiched. I prefer mine to glue but they also stick well together. Glue the assembly together with the base. This allows to print the base and top part in different colors easily. Glass -------- They are bunch of glass tiles in there that you can print in either transparent or your color of choice. They fit into the windows of the buildings. Print multiple as some tiles are repeated. Make sure that the glass you print for the mirrored side building are also mirrored. Stencil and Signs ------------------------ I included some stencil and signs that can be printed out.
