Diamond Select Enterprise Refit and 1701-A Stand Mount
Description
This is a replacement bushing for the original rubber "ball mount" stand. It goes in place of the rubber bushing (Which is easily replaced by removing the battery cover and unscrewing the 3 small Phillips head screws) and allows the ship to be mounted on a 6mm rod. The original stand is very easily broken and additionally if your stand has lasted this long the rubber bushing will have hardened and lost the ability to support the weight of the ship causing the model to nose dive. No modifications to the Ship are required to install this part, it is a direct replacement for the rubber bushing. Please note: This is Version 1, I intend to further work on the design to improve printability. I will also be working on designs for other Diamond Select ships to hopefully replace the poorly designed original stands entirely for the whole DS line of Star Trek (Federation only as I do not have access to any other factions models)
