The Unihanger

The Unihanger

Description

Just a simple little unicorn horn to hang light objects (like necklaces) from, made as a fun design challenge from my wife for my little girl. I shot a few out using some different materials just to see how they'd look. Uses a small or medium Command strip to attach to the wall. Print the base at 0.2mm layer height and for best results drop the layer height to 0.16mm for the horn. The STEP file has both components named so assigning different materials is easy, or you can just perform a material change at 2mm height to make them different. The horn has no overhangs (even at 0.2mm height), and can print cleanly with 0% infill (as seen in the purple-backed model printed in Cookiecad Funfetti). Standard quality rules apply - silks look best when the outer walls are printed really slow (no more than 35mm/s), and tranlucents look best printed not only slower but a little hotter than normal. Tuned print profiles available over on [MakerWorld](https://makerworld.com/en/models/582433#profileId-503565).
