Dual Durometer Miata Door Bushings (Ultimate-r)
Description
Wasn't fully satisfied with how the other single piece "Ultimate" bushings performed; The 2 piece design solves every issue with door bushings, so they're longer lasting and have a tighter, more solid fit. They have the same adjustability as the single piece design, and are WAY less prone to cracking thanks to the extra damping and the soft, grippy base layer (requires less bolt torque to keep them in place). Use as big of a washer as you can fit The soft bumper does not decrease chassis rigidity! All of the rigidity that door bushings supposedly add (it's all placebo, they just get rid of some rattles) comes from the sides of the bushing coming in solid contact with the door cup: this is another area where the 2 piece design improves over the generic solid shells, as it effectively adds preload to the system
