Description
This is my remix of a great model. I made a few mods. Even though Canada is officially Metric, most harware stores order from USA providers. Almost impossible to find metric rods so I changed the diameter with modeled threads inside the pommel and the guard to screw on a 3/8 in-16 threads per inch rod (The threads are modeled and can be cleaned with a tap). I made the smaller holes slightly bigger inside the blade at 4.9mm to fit 3/16 threaded rods which are 4.65mm of diameter (just because they are cheaper, the holes are not threaded insiden the blade). I left the handle as is. Great feel to assemble the pommel / handle / guard buy screwing it. I wanted to design the markings inside the grove of the blade but I was too hurried to start printing. I designed a scabbard for it to use with a belt on a costume. Watch my models for the scabard!
