A&K Airsoft M249 & Mk46 Feed Cover Latch and Retainer Clip
Description
Feed cover retention latches for the A&K M249 SAW & Mk46. These get lost a lot for some reason. FDM holds up just fine in testing. I provide two files - one .STEP of the as-machined part if you're thinking about sneaking it past one of the cheap SLM outfits. Name it something like door pin or pc case hinge. The other file is the latch as an .STL, beefed up where it matters to survive as an FDM part. Print this open side down. Shouldn't need supports. The retainer clip also gets lost a lot. You can form these out of 1.4-1.6mm or 0.059" music/spring wire with a pair of round jaw pliers. Should only take you a few minutes. Use the retainer clip PDF to form a clip of appropriate dimensions. Print in something with high layer bond strength like regular PETG or Polycarbonate.
