"Irene" #143 (HO SCALE)
Description
So, I had this old bachmann 0-6-0 chassis that they slap on everything and stole from AHM or TYCO a while back and have been pumping them out for a long time for a while. The issue is, by and by they haven't changed the bodies much since then so often they're just tossed aside as junk because while they run well, they don't look all that good. So I came into having one of these and I thought "Screw it, I have the capability to make an engine to my specifications and slap that baby on the chassis" so I just put this together and hot glued it in (Yes I know it's not elegant, I'm Lazy). So here is the product of that and honestly it's not too shabby if I do say so myself. It's modeled after the eastern logging locomotives and whatnot and I aimed for Tyco quality as I'm lazy and was mostly interested if it would work or not. So here: the fruits of my bordem and routin' tootin' through my train club's trash pile. Oh, she only has 143 listed on the front boiler badge, so you can scrape that off with a hobby knife if you like. Thanks!
