Ender 3 v2 - Filament Guide for Front-Mounted Spool
Description
I built an IKEA Lack "enclosure" (unenclosed for the time being). However, due to space constraints and the need to use the top and sides for other purposes, I couldn't put the filament to the sides nor on top as many of the "makes" have done. As such, I needed a way to feed the filament from the front. This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4932435, itself a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4683505, from which you'll need to grab the rings to print for the 608 bearing, which you'll also need. I also used a zip tie to hold the guide down to the x-axis stepper motor housing, as there was a good bit of upward pull that would force the guide out of place. My original design was too flexible, and the bearing would often pop out of the guide. So, I redesigned it with arm structures and screw holes to hold the bearing in place. However, the screw hole itself may have been overkill, since adding the the arm structures made it so stiff, I had to use a screwdriver to pry it open enough to get the bearing into place. Having said that, though, I decided to use a screw, washers, and a nut just in case.
