Secure Powered USB/ USB-C Charging Station w/ Cooling Fan
Description
I needed a secure place for USB and USB-C cables in an office setting. I added a fan as a way to cool the charger that gets to about 40ºC. I designed the box to suspend the charger. I have charged multiple iPads at the same time with no issues. I also zipped the cables together inside to prevent people from just pulling on the cable and twisting it out. There are 2 .stl files, one for the box and the other for the top. The top will only fit properly one way. I also used a Fuzzy Skin: Thickness .3 Fuzzy Density 1.25 Fuzzy Skin Point Distance .8 I ran into having to drill the holes out a little, but if normal printing this is not an issue. Note: Screws are not screwed in all the way in pictures. I left out the holes for mount to a surface, but I used a soldering Iron to put the holes in that I needed.
