RJV1 - Flying V Guitar
Description
Modeled from scratch in Onshape, this design was spiritually inspired by [@MikolasZuza's](https://www.printables.com/@MikolasZuza) [Prusacaster](https://www.printables.com/model/398795-the-prusacaster-a-3d-printable-guitar). It's sized to utilize a [Gotoh hardtail bridge](https://www.amazon.com/Gotoh-AN0179-Hardtail-Bridge-Chrome/dp/B077K6G6Z9/ref=sr_1_2?crid=20IESXSYZD2JC&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.DBxHU4o8denBu1T9S95K4noquaHN-DZ-21zuNPU_sHsy5Bk9QGYtydte9BtpGo_eFiVwwus56KW6GWmupO9wfHOOj9cuWgEGevhJIWWCRUNcE5dzbe9SVXqCNHnpxMrhkhrGTNUogP113OKW-d2Bs4kWBq4HI_LhhVaGj9ERiO5gj0d3reL3Jo3uiDdikxKzNCCIlBKOIdX-KCio9BrpwJGPCV-MObFkI64IfIqvfyp1v2ijMFk7Q2YEilbC6XtYrhW4sbh_XHEZcRd3bR40XcwXkZMm8cdxGfBkWlGa1BU.htDq7nbZXK51XZvkJGZt2zm2Md89ipTBimfx5mDQQqo&dib_tag=se&keywords=gotoh+hardtail+bridge&qid=1725738091&sprefix=gotoh+har%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-2) and standard humbuckers. For extra stiffness, the body has recesses for two [1/2" aluminum rods](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFGRGJPH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title). The scale length is 25.5" as modeled, though you can easily adjust by modifying where the neck pocket ends. **This is a work in progress! I haven't received the neck I'm using for this build yet, so currently the neck pocket is just a rough outline. You'll need to measure your neck and modify the pocket.** All STEP files are included in the RJV1.zip file. I'll add more details as the build progresses, stay tuned!
